i need information on the health care industry as a whole and the medical equipment subsection?

I am doing an industry analysis for my finance class and currently need broad information about the health care sector and then narrow it down to the medical equipment industry. I also have to look at what firm we should add to a portfolio so I could use input as to recommended firms.
